Meet Our Pastors

Pastors Adewale and Yemisi Odusanya, affectionately known as PWal and PYem, serve as the visionary leaders of Ignite Church, a thriving and purpose-driven ministry they have faithfully shepherded since its launch in 2016. Ordained at Jesus House, DC (JHDC), where they served diligently for many years, they were uniquely prepared and positioned to lead Ignite from its very inception. Their journey into senior leadership was marked by unwavering commitment, spiritual depth, and a shared calling for building a dynamic, Christ-centered community. Their ministry is deeply rooted in their passion for family life, mentorship, and holistic counseling done God’s way.

Their journey together began when they met at JHDC in 2007, leading to marriage in 2010, and the joy of welcoming twin boys in 2016. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.

Beyond ministry, Pastor Wale and Pastor Yemisi hold leadership roles in their professional careers and are seasoned speakers, entrepreneurs, and content creators who leverage various platforms to inspire and equip others beyond the four walls of the church. Whether through teaching, business ventures, or digital media, they consistently champion growth, leadership development, and authentic living.
